Man taken into custody for drug and possible theft charge

Police in Texas say that two people were taken into custody at a mechanic shop in Henderson County. This occurred after police searched the business on April 9. A 47-year-old man faces a charge of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance totaling more than four grams but less than 200 grams. Police said that there was a Harley Davidson motorcycle at the shop that had been reported stolen in 2015.

Drug ring busted in Texas

A year-long federal drug investigation into an international drug ring came to a head in North Austin on March 28. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas, 18 people were taken into custody at an auto body shop near North Lamar Boulevard in North Austin. The arrest was made by a broad partnership of state and federal entities including the DEA and the Austin Police Department.
