DWI Suspended Driver's License

We Work to Protect Your License

If you were pulled over and refused or failed the Breathalyzer test, your driver's license will be automatically suspended unless you challenge the suspension at an Administrative License Revocation (ALR) hearing. You have only 15 days from your arrest to request an ALR hearing with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Working with an experienced lawyer is critical when you are fighting driving while intoxicated (DWI) charges. At the Rosales Law Firm, we have experience prosecuting and defending DWI cases. We can represent you at ALR hearings and argue for an occupational license.

Contact us today online or by telephone at 888-352-0467. Our El Paso suspended license lawyers represent clients throughout El Paso and surrounding areas, including military members stationed at Fort Bliss.

The ALR Hearing Is Critical

If you do not request an ALR hearing before the deadline, your license will be automatically suspended on the 40th day following your arrest, and you will lose your opportunity to apply for an occupational license. The length of the suspension depends on the charge you are facing. For a first DWI charge, the suspension is typically up to two years.

At the ALR hearing, we will contest the license suspension. We may also question the arresting officer about the circumstances of your arrest. This can be a key part of your defense if the criminal part of your DWI case goes to trial.

If your license is suspended at the hearing, we can help you apply for an occupational license if you are eligible. An occupational license allows you to drive to work, to school and to perform household duties.
